We Provide InGround Fire Shelters Throughout California and Surrounding States!

For California residents, the reality of experiencing nearby wildfires might hit too close to home. Fire officials now agree that the possibility is no longer a matter of “if” but “when and where” an inferno will suddenly ignite. As a result of the speed and intensity of wildfire flames, many victims have been found in incinerated homes, just outside of their front doors, or inside of their cars before they could flee

Whether you're a new or established homeowner who lives near fire-prone areas, installing a permanent, in-ground fire shelter is a critical investment. It is the last resort for your first priority – to save your life and those of your loved ones.

The Smart Home Pro™ understands the importance of fire shelter installation, which is why we've simplified our process. Please read below to learn how easily and efficiently these shelters can be ordered and put into place. Act as if your life depends on it.

ABOUT OUR SHELTERS

Install 1.jpg

Our InGround fire shelters offer a 48 square foot interior that extends just over 6'2" inches high and is designed for up to 6 people. There is enough passive air to last occupants for one hour, though we offer solutions that provide a greater supply of oxygen.

Our InGround fire shelter construction comprises top-of-the-line equipment. We use extremely dense concrete and stainless steel. Our ventilation system ensures air circulation throughout the entire shelter while it's not in use. This is important in order to keep air moisture levels down. It is essential to ensure that the ventilation system is closed when taking shelter in the event of a fire.

Your InGround fire shelter will be delivered to the site as a factory finished unit. Upon arrival, it's simply craned into position or delivered in two halves and joined at its destination site. We will advise you on the appropriate site location and installation of your in-ground fire shelter.  If necessary, we can also advise you on permit requirements needed to dig the hole based on your location.
